Sure, if you are talking about a pair of AR-1's in your living room. <g>
Doing it with only two speakers in high school gyms with hard walls
could be a challenge. In the days before *tours*, the musicians showed
up on an old bus and expected there would be some kind of local sound.
My weapons of choice were a pair of EV Musicasters on 6 ft. tripod
poles, a 664, and for good talent, an RCA 77DX. The amp was a pair
of 5881's that would do 70W at 2% THD with the plates running dull
red. That's what we did when we weren't hiding from the closest
T-Rex. <g>
