[BC] One other IBUZ zzz

One other thought that crosses my mind here, I hadn't noticed (might've
missed) on all this IBUZ or IHISS or whatever...

I know of at least one or two smaller stations in my area that simply
don't have the money to "take the digital plunge" yet. Just the cost of the
equipment, let alone the tune and test part if it all. What if we find our
in the next 6months or a year that the NRSC 5 or the part 74 or what ever
changes, again, requiring another expenditure... how many small or micro
(mom&pop) size operations that don't gain any listener & ad money from the
IBUZS will actually put the money out while it all seems rather... "first
generation"... (even if it's not. ) Soome of these stations really went
through the $$ pains on the first gen DAW, and might be a bit gun-shy about
IBUZS right now while it's so tough to show them that the FCC and NRSC and
Ibquity folks are all working to the same reference sheet Plus, where is
the flock of listeners ringing the phones ringing the local phones to get
the "clarity of digital broadcasting" on their local stations...? I'm glad
the "big boys" can afford to experiment with it all for a while, but I also
think maybe it would help matters a bit if we didn't try to "rush" the
product out just because it's the latest greatest thing. Are we trying to
"sell a wine before it's time"...?
