Ya know, I've met too many people in the biz. Since you were there when
Tomorrow Radio was put together you would know the guy who gave me 1 of 3
CD's (I ripped the tracks and put them up on Oldradio.com...don't know if
Barry still has them up there or not) that were from the origianal masters!
This CD also has "The Last Dance", which, as you know, was another version
of Tomorrow Radio that didn't go to vinyl. The sound is incredible. Norman
never sounded better. I think I told the group I came to New York in '97 and
did a session with Norman Rose for WRR in Dallas when I was P.D. I did the
session at Mixed Nuts. You've probably heard of the studio. Nice people.
Still have a sweat shirt with the Mixed Nuts logo. Rose was a prince. Not
until he passed away did I realize he would have been around 79 or 80 when
he did those liners for me. I'll probably die at the mic myself. :) Always
have to be doing something. In fact, it's time to slice and dice my tracks
and FTP them to WorldSpace.
Have a good one.
