I continue to watch this story with amazement. *Everything* I have seen
posted by the experts in this Forum has indicated an almost total lack of interest
by the General Public... yet stations continue to throw money away on this
boondoggle. It really boggles the mind!

I expect that in just a couple years, we will be seeing all kinds of IBUZ
equipment being sold for pennies on the dollar as surplus and scrap. Watch for it.

When AM stereo came out, the Public reacted with an audible yawn despite the
fact that the receivers were only nominally more expensive. With IBUZ, we're
talking 10x to 4x the price. The people aren't just yawning, they're snoring!

Let's face it... the consumers are *not* buying it. Sirius and XM are
obviously much higher on the Public's priority list.

We've already suggested the right way to go- dump TV channels 5 & 6, and
either make a new FM band for IBUZ, or let the mom & pop AM's (and daytimers) buy
the new channels. I think the FCC could make plenty of money auctioning off
those channels.

Willie...
