[BC] Equipment Question

I concur. I have been using Tie-Lines to back-up my AM's primary STL's for
a couple years now. On most AM's, you can not differentiate between the
T-1, program loop, 950 STL and the Tie-Line. FM, the warts of the
compression start to show. (But hey, you're on the air...aren't you??) I
proved that to a few golden ears who said they could hear a difference. In
a random test, I had them switch between A and B. They could hear the
switch, but could not tell the difference once the AGC had settled after
switching between the two sources. Nuf said....

We do use ISDN for the FM's to keep the stereo imaging. However, Tie-line
has a stereo option.
