Never happen. Shouldn't happen. How can life be sustained without
syndicated hate? Where would we be without Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage,
Schlessinger, et al? At least most talk stations surround this stuff
with local material. Not all, but most. I'll include the
"progressive" stuff once there's enough of an audience to sustain it.

Local doesn't automatically mean good. My issue is the treatment of
secondaries as also-rans. Unless they're staffed and run as real
stations right from the start, it's all a waste of time. I don't
think you sell expensive receivers on promises of future glory.

I've asked in the past (with no response) how much of this $200
million from the HD Dominion will be spent on TV and Newspaper, the
traditional media for radio's off-their-own-air advertising. I'm
betting they're not real dollars but inflated inventory value on the
member stations. Is there actually an HD Dominion bank account with
$200 million American dollars in it? Since this is very likely an
anti-trust issue, someone like Elliott Spitzer will want to know
where it is. When will we get the announcement of which advertising
agency got the HD Dominion account?

Jabba the HD, oh mighty one, please answer. Even a puffy press
release will do. Before you eat him, please send one of your minions
with the answer.

Rich
