want to wish you the best of luck in furthering the usefullness of the radio
station, i think college radio is a great learning tool.

the first step to making an upgrade i nterms of power is find a trustworthy
and competent consulting engineer who can do an FM study, which will run
between $500 and $2000 depending on what you need, want and get done.

Then that paper work needs to be filed and the FCC will need to act on it.
However,I'm not sure if a Class change and a power upgrade is major or a minor.
If it's a minor, you can do it at anytime.

However, be careful.. Go research the WAVM vs Living Proof Broadcasting
case. WAVM wanted to go from a D to A and Living proof squirmed in.

My best suggestion in terms of equipment for the remote studio all depends
on what exactly it will be used for. If its going to be a second studio
identical to the first, just get a list of equipment then price it out. Take a
visual look at the first studio and figur eout from that what equipment and
space youll need for the second on.

Hey, this is all coming from someone who is of college age!:) I'm 22
