Here's a clip from a binaural demo LP put out by Stereo Review magazine in
1970:

The rest of the first side has various sound effect samples (trains,
planes, and ships; basketball game; steel fabrication plant; zoo bird
house; street parade; and even one of someone singing in a shower), while
the second side has various music samples, including rock, jazz, and
classical.

I also have a DVD-Audio demo CD which attempts to give an example of what
5.1 surround-sound DVD Audio sounds like by putting a binaural-miked head
in the middle of the room and letting you hear that via your headphones on
the demo CD.

Also, a few modern pop songs include binaural effects, such as Natalie
Imbruglia's 1998 album track "Big Mistake", where her voice is clearly
"in front of you" when listening with headphones, as opposed to the normal
"in the middle of your head" stereo effect.
