I reread my comments on using a GE tone module and THOUGHT 
that I implied that the "red reed" would have to be broken open and
padded down to 25 or 35 hertz.   I didn't actually say that, so yes......
a bit of modification to the "red reed" would be necessary to pad it
down to the desired frequency.

The term "red reed" is a mis-nomer but apparently a holdover from
the Motorola units which were actual vibrating units.  The red is the
color that GE used for the plastic housing.  It takes a bit of doing but
they can be broken open without damaging the insides.  They are
not encapsulated as one might think.

If anyone tries this (or has tried it) I'd like to hear about it.
