When we changed WCFL, Chicago, from Rock to TM Programming's Easy 
Listening (a special blend) we played surf sounds until Mayor Daly 
(the real one) pulled a switch at a news conference. That was after 
Larry Lujack opened the envelope with the name of the station he was 
going to recommend his former listeners tune to. The following rating 
book had Easy Listening up by .1 of a point, meaning the entire 
audience had been replaced, then some. Well, sort of. The numbers 
didn't go down as one would expect.
