[BC] Last Stands

When a local radio station changed formats in the mid-80's, they didn't even
give them a chance. The morning crew was called to a mandatory staff
meeting, and the lead jockey put on a long vinyl to cover his time. When
they got to the meeting, they were told pretty plainly that the format was
changing and that as of that morning, they were all let go. The lead jokcey
started to head back to the studio saying "I'll be right back, I've gotta go
put another song on" and was told that it was already taken care of.
Talk about your on-the-fly format changes...

In a bit of irony, the format change failed miserably, and they ended up
returning to the original format.
