Because frankly, we don't have any other choice.

Yes, I know that, theoretically at least, anyone can run for elected office. 
But only a very few do. And those that do, seem to want the job for what 
they can get out of it, not for what they can do for the country.

A number of people run for President each term, but it's usually only TWO of 
the candidates that matter: the Democrat and the Republican. Referring to 
the last election, my thought was, we have almost 300 million people in this 
country. And THESE two clowns are our only choices for President?

You betcha, when it comes to politicians, I'm pessimistic.
