the legendary slogan for everyone who is puzzled by reporters doing
stand-ups late at night outside of empty buildings.  "Nothing happened, and
we were there."

My all time favorite is "Broadcasting from a very tall tower with flashing
red lights so airplane won't hi..[sounds of static]

[announcer clearing throat]..."now broadcasting from our somewhat smaller,
back up tower........."
