anyone have an old callbook they can flip through and do some checking?  it 
would be interesting to know if fcc let these kind of calls get by back 30 
or 40 years ago when they were doing the issuing systematically.

they _are_ going after the guys who game the vanity system by inventing 
bogus radio clubs, in order to get umpteen two letter calls assigned to them 
as trustees (the reason for wanting a dozen calls is beyond me).
