Well, I know that we used to have our own joke versions of some of 
broadcasting's more pompous sloganeering.  How about:  "When news breaks, 
we fix it."  Or "When news breaks, it stays broken."  And then, there is 
the legendary slogan for everyone who is puzzled by reporters doing 
stand-ups late at night outside of empty buildings.  "Nothing happened, and 
we were there."
