Well... if you're talking regular snowfalls that are measured in *feet* 
instead of inches, you're right... However, we *do* get some significant storms 
from time-to-time, where it's well over a foot. (ugh! I positively *dread* that!) 
I still wouldn't categorize these winters as "warm, southerly", though. Not 
even close. :)
