[BC] Federal Radio and TV

Fellows, I am looking for someone who can help me remember a great old name
in radio and TV gear, Federal.  They did not last forever, but long enough
to get a start in the early years of B&W TV transmission.  I worked on one
of their early TV transmitters, one with the divide by count down AFC
circuit in the aural exciter.  

Who around is 'pretty up' on Federal Company?
