Sorry, I was focusing on the Kirkland problem. That's exactly what's going
on. 1250 has Pre-Sunrise Authority for 500 watts from the West Seattle Site
(the diplex with 1050). That PSA not operational when my friends bought the
station. I got it all fixed up and tuned up before I left their employ and
put all my efforts into my gig at KING-FM. IMO, It's a very inefficient way
of doing low power. Dropping the Collins to 1K and burning 500 watts up in
the roof of the transmitter building. (It was nice in Winter) I'm assuming
(if they're being legal about it all) they're using the 500 watts at night
from the West Seattle site. As you know Scott, 1250 protects KWSU (1250) in
Pullman, WA.
Thanks for clarifying all this. I was really tired last night. (Hate turning
my body clock upside down)
