gives good strong bass for direct digital recording. The Stanton has built
in digital audio outputs to connect right to your PC sound card so there is

Well, if you are dubbing to MP3, that's probably plenty good enough. The Stanton cartridge is actually pretty decent, though my personal preference is for the moving-coil designs. I note that Audio-Technica does have an MC cartridge, though it sells for several times what I paid for the AT-30HE quite a few years ago.
