[BC] Turntables (WAS:Achieving good S/N)

Unfortunately, the V15xMR (the last and best of the V15s) was discontinued
some months back and they seem to be getting quite hard to find. However,
replacement stylii are still available (and Shure has committed to keeping
them available for 5 years after the official date of discontinuation).

When I work with a mechanical TT for archiving work, I use the V15xMR.
