One of the first bank computer fraud cases involved an IT
tech was dropped the least significant digit of the interest
calculation routine and had the difference automatically
deposited in an account in the same bank. There are specific
equations for calculating compounded interest.

He was caught because someone at the bank noticed the
million dollar plus account (after only one month) and tried
to contact the owner to advise them of the $100K FDIC
limit and other higher interest accounts. When the owner was
not readily found, the fraud was discovered.

As for computers in radio....here is my idea. A single person
station. Programming is 100% satellite delivered. Spots are
purchased and paid for on line by credit card, wire transfer
or other electronically verifiable methods. Advertisers bid on line
for the time slots they desire. They upload their spots on line.

What I propose is shifting the responsibility for commercials to
the advertisers. The station solely delivers their product. Period.
They voice the spots, upload and pay for them. No announcers,
sales team, traffic person, bookkeeper, etc. A person with some
technical knowledge to maintain the equipment and watch the
bank account grow. Expenses would be billed and collected
on line as well.
