Actually, Froggy came from a '50's kid show hosted by an old man who would
start reading a story from a big book while sitting in an easy chair and the
program would segway into a movie about the story, usually about an East
Indian boy and his elephant. I don't remember the host's name but think he
was "Uncle Don" or something like that. They had a black cat named Midnight
who the host would turn to and say "What do you think of that Midnignt?" and
the cat would meow "Niiiiice". Froggy was "Froggy the gremlin". The host
would say "Pluck your magic twanger Froggy" and you'd hear a Jews Harp and
Froggy would disappear in a puff of smoke. The Goul reincarnated Froggy.
