That would probably be the 675 exciter, which was a fairly common 
unit.  They also had a much larger unit with modules, that came with 
the FM-25KE/G that I installed at KAMB in 1977.  It had a propensity 
to inlock the AFC if it was hit by excessive low-frequency audio.  I 
put a 0.1 mF capacitor in series with the composite input to 
straighten out that problem.
