Yes, the days when Appliance Park in Louisville was truly the
consumer appliance capital of the world are long gone. Too bad,
they made some very good stuff there "back in the day."

The broadcast product from Syracuse was likewise one of the
best available in the '50's. Unfortunately, the designs were
from the "cost plus" military mentality of WW-II and could
not compete effectively as the market evolved and consolidated.
