Don't get me started on the dancing bugs.  FX seems to be the worse at
it because the SFX they use for the bug promo is so hot, you can hear
the processor bring down the audio and it takes a little time to release
it back to it's normal level.  Nobody at FX either cares or knows about
it and it's a huge distraction.  Too many tools in the hands of ignorant
folk.  I remember working back at TNN when we got a Leitch Logomotion
for the TNN bug.  We debated using it to do anything other than put the
bug up because we knew that Motorsports and Outdoors and the Opry and
Nashville Now and every friggin' body else would want a dancing bug.  I
abhor consultants who insult my intelligence.
