-The problem is that a lot of people pay a premium for their DVR service.
We expect complete intact programs not something that is chopped up with
4 day old news or out of date EAS alerts. If I lived in a tornado prone
area and felt I was in jeopardy, I would buy a weather radio. I would
never depend on over the air broadcast as I know how poorly engineered
many stations are and would never trust one in an emergency unless it
was one that I or some other person I trust and respect built. Even then
stuff happens.
