I take exception to the remarks about CBS News not being staffed with a crew
around the clock!

Rob Meuser probably doesn't know, or forgot, that ever since Princess Di's
poor choice of time to die there is an organized plan to have a News crew
here.  The Evening News staff works Noon to 8 PM, when the baton gets passed
to the UTTM crew (Up To The Minute, an overnight news show which some
affiliates don't carry), and then for the morning hours it's the Early Show
News crew.  I'm not sure what we do on the weekends.

As far as Talent and writers I don't know, but what's the use of having a
crew on duty without the rest available?

As for the politics of what to interrupt, and when, I can't say.
