[BC] Gerald Ford

I had a chance to meet and talk to President Ford back in 1981.  He was 
in town (Asheville, NC) campaigning for the mid terms and we ended up 
face to face for about two solid minutes.  He was a very nice and 
courteous man but my everlasting impression was how big he was.  The man 
was huge with hands twice the size of mine.  Of course he was on the 
UofM national championship teams in 1932 and 1933 and was the Wolverines 
MVP in 1934 but still... his "position" was over shadowed by his large 
physical size.  We have truly lost a kind, thoughtful, leader.
