What was KDIA has had many owners, including Sonderling, the Black mayor 
of Oakland in a partnership with a newspaper, and, most recently, 
ABC/Disney.

The call is now attached to an ex-band station allocated to Vallejo, CA, 
which was allocated to replace a daytiimer on 1190.

1640 is using KDIA; 1190 is using KDYA.

AFAIK, bother are still operating.

KDIA recently tried all-Catholic programming, but it apparently failed.

I don't believe this particular incarnation of KDIA (as KDYA/KDIA) claims 
Black ownership.

WDIA is owned by CC, now.
