Loops perform miracles great and small. Thanks for posting Radio Shack Loop 
numbers. Use one along w/Terk & CCrane loops, all most effective. Found first 
loop twenty years ago in classifieds, a used McKay Dymek DA-5 active unit. 
Presently in daily use w/R-390 - not 'A' - for taping music outa Cuba on 640, etc. 
Came across used Radio West battery powered loop ten years ago, another 
effective amplified unit both at home and inna field. No idea how I lasted this
