[BC] Is overprocessing illegal?

While not here in the USA, several European Countries recognize the ITU
BS-412 multiplex power requirement. Essentially putting a limit on the
depth of dynamics processing employed. By example, our product, as well as
Bob's offer a specialized limiter so that the processing adheres to this
requirement. If this limiter is switched into the "ON" mode, it changes
the apparent density and loudness of the audio by 6dB and many times more.

There are monitoring and measurement devices for this requirement as well.
