Have you tried "Avast?"  It's free.  I'm told it is pretty  good.  I've been 
using AVG for some time and like it, but they are going to  start charging for 
it.  Norton and McAfee just load your computer up with  too much stuff.  It's 
amazing how much better they run when you uninstall  Norton.  
 
I used PC-Cillin for a while and liked it, but AVG was free.  Being  
naturally "thrifty," it won....
