On thing to think about copper weld is that it will intimately become noisy,
due to the dissimilar metals and the eventual rusting of the iron where the
copper was scratched during installation and the like; installation is hard
due to the springiness of the steel.

Why not do it right, take pictures and insure it.

By the way on my MAXI Limiter query, I meant to say that it would pass a
square wave with extremely low ringing.
