The Copperweld Company  used to put out a complete catalog and  grounding 
manual.  Much of it was used for power line sub-stations and  Tower installations.
 
They had the basic copperclad ground wire in many sizes.   But  they had 
something similiar to ground screens that was larger than the standard  Truscon  
sheet copper expanded screens. They recommended the use of  this screen on the 
ground covered with gravel at sub-stations and around tower  bases.  They also 
made copperclad standard grounding rods that were  threaded so you use 
several of them to drive the rod into the ground  30-40 feet.
 
I will try to locate the information in my vast piles of literature which I  
need to throw away.
 
I used some of their multiple ground rods  years ago on a grounding  project 
for  unloading MAAP gas from tank cars to ground located  storage tanks.
