Canada today ammounced that they are accepting petitions to re-use their L
band DAB spectrum due to disuse. They also are allowing broadcasters to use
IBOC on a case by case basis.

Pretty nifty, but it appears to not be compatible with the DAB used in
Canada, due to the difference in frequency range versus the DAB used in
Europe (L-Band vs. Band III):
