My neighbor across the street from my house in Cambridge Farms works for
BellSouth.  I've considered talking to him about that.

Hey Scott, why dont you bury telephone drop line for your radials?  They
are
copper clad steel.  Not worth much to theives but probably work better
than
fence wire.  Can probably be obtained for free or very low cost from
someone
at the phone company

I saw that in Radio Guide and I've considered it, but as usual, they
will try to steal it. Heck, they would steal the power lines if they
weren't energized!

Scott, you might consider the above ground 6 radial scheme. Yes, it's
above ground, but if they stole it, you would know immediately and you
only have to replace 6 radials. You could fence in under the elevated
radials and install junkyard dog v1.1. Just an idea....
