[BC] 50's/60's Audio Processing

Try and find a good used

Orban 422 Compressor
CRL SEP-400A
Mosely TAL-310 or Marti CLA-40H limiter (or even a Urei 1176LN if you have
$1500-2000).
Effect reverb (Alesis/Yamaha) etc to go between the CRL and the limiter.

That will give you alot of the 70's density.  I had a similar setup for
awhile at home and it really sounded like vintage radio... nice dramatic
compression
