That's correct, in fact sunSET has occured slightly later each
afternoon since December 8, but the lateness of sunRISE changed more,
such that this is the "shortest day."

Now, there is a "sunset" that ALWAYS gets later -- and later -- and
that's the sunset of analog TV.
