Jim,
Here's what is paradoxical about your statement. (BTW: I agree with you!)
In our current world, communications is changing far faster than ever
before. Consider that FM-Stereo alone was a "big deal." Now, we have new
tech springing up all over the place, and innovations that surpass what
FM-Stereo, or Color-TV was. Nothing against those two technologies, but
we're moving closer to break-neck speed on a daily basis.
There'll always be naysayers, and I'm not aware of tech advances that came
from one. Consider Frank LLoyd Wright, or one of my fave novel characters,
Howard Roarke, from Ayn Rand's "The Fountainhead." Those guys overcame big
obstacles, and made great strides.
