Orban and CRL manuals are provided with no password protection, either to 
get the manual from our ftp site or to open it for editing, copying, etc . 
(One example of where this would be needed is copying a drawing for 
printout by cutting and pasting into a new pdf.)

I was surprised to find that some other companies make their pdf manuals 
read-only and uncopyable, which seems to me to add unnecessary burdens to 
the customer without actually serving a positive purpose.
