Yep, there are also competitive reasons why you might not want to put
custom system manuals and info on the web, but I assume most
manufacturers are clever enough to keep additional copies of custom
systems and designs available (in print and PDF) if the customer
calls... most... ;)

Another thought;

If what y you are buying is "custom" as in an antenna, combiner
(certain frequency combinations), furniture, etc., each manual will be
quite different. So, for some products, a common manual is not possible.
But for cookie cutter products, made in mass, it makes really good sense
to have them available on line in PDF.
