Jeff, he's trying to hedge his bets, thinking that he can make you (or your
boss) feel guilty enough to take care of his problem for free. Don't fall
for that ploy.
You're good to give advice on how the transmitter is SUPPOSED to work, how
it was designed to work, and even opinions on what might be preventing it
from playing properly, and how one MIGHT get it back to correct operation,
but if the guy doing the engineering is over his head, there's not a lot you
can (or
should do) over the phone. You'll end up owning his problems.

I've worked with you a few times, Nautel is still my transmitter of choice
for two reasons: they work well and the company works well. 'nuff said.
