While I'll admit some stations/groups (Cumulus, I think) did some
grandstanding with the Dixie Chick "ban" - the bottom line is that
after the band's remarks, they alienated most of their core audience -
and why would any radio station want to play a band most of their
audience doesn't really want to hear?
