The longtime host of WHAS' all night show was Joe Donovan.
He had the "Odd & Obscure Hour" between 3 and 4 AM where
he would play the lesser charting tunes from the Hot 100.
You could call or send in a request and the following night he'd
play the song for you. I used to love listening to Joe when I was
up late nights way back when.
I don't know if he just retired or went elsewhere after WHAS 
switched to all the talk garbage 'round the clock.
