[BC] If you wonder why email is getting worse

I really prefer email lists to web bulletin boards. It just shows up and
it's easy to scan the subjects. I don't think mailing lists have a severe
problem with spam. On the lists I run, new members come in as moderated.
Once they post something on-topic, I remove the moderation. I use
spamcop.net on my mail server to reject email from reported spammers. I
then run the email through Spam Assassin. These reject something like
10,000 spams a month. Another 50 or so that get through per day are
reported to spamcop.net . Eventually I hope all the zombies out there are
listed on spamcop!
