That is only a part of the WKBW story. Originally it was co-owned with 
550 WGR. The two stations are co-sited, transmitters in the same 
building. WGR shares two of 3 KB towers as part of it 4 tower night 
array. The idea, I was told was that 'GR had the great local coverage 
with KB serving with skywave at night.
