By far, the Yamaha is the best. Tweeter here used to sell them. The 
Manager and I experimented with antennas and used the BA Receptor rat 
tail on the Yamaha and received everything listed as IBUZ in Hartford 
and Springfield. With the rat tail, both the BA and Polk were deaf. 
Without my HDTV/FM attic antenna setup the Accurian is deaf. Forget 
AM. I've moved the radio to multiple locations and turned off all 
interference producing devices.

The constant buzz on AM has to be its own power supply.
