As  you sail past 45 years in this business I think  you are automatically
enrolled in the club.



As for not hearing the difference between HD and Analog...a couple of
thoughts based on my 2 1/2 years experience with this stuff here in the
land of horrible topography -

> In fixed locations with a good solid, non-multipath, signal...FM and
HD1 should sound about the same.

> In this market with the majority of the HD players multicasting ...your
Analog radio is missing out on half of what's being broadcast on HD2
and HD3 ...making it HD compared to 'silence'...(I guess that makes HD 
better)

> The really important listening location is in a moving vehicle.  (Lets 
> face it,
if it were not for car-radios- Radio would be dead!) FM compared to
HD is no contest (at least around here).

>  For the - first time - I can actually drive down the road and listen to
 KING-FM (Classical) or KPLU (Jazz) and not have to put up with
multipath and picket fencing.

> Come to Seattle, let me give you a ride around and prove it!
