Just received the Radio Shack receiver on my doorstep today.

It seems to be ok. I am 60 miles+ from the nearest HD signal. With a 4
element beam, on a chair in the living room, I can get 2 FM HD signals.
It's dark now, so I have not tried AM HD yet.

Since the speakers are not so great, there is not a big difference between
analog and digital. Hmmm, when using a good antenna the analog signal is
good, so why would I want to set up an antenna just to get an HD signal on FM?
Not quite sure. Well, maybe it's the HD2 channels.

I'll hook up some decent external speakers tomorrow to see what difference
that makes.

There seems to be some stuttering when blending from analog to HD. This
might have to do with the station.

Fidelity for a radio of the size is ok. No alarm clock is annoying, but
the radio sits in my office, so not a big deal.

I am still not sold on HD.
