I don't know when that was installed but it might have been when Lew 
Witz, the General Manager changed the format to Easy Listening with 
programming from TM. I did special programming for WCFL at TM. I 
still have a copy of the Larry Lujack signoff and the surf before 
Mayor Daly pulled a phony switch to change the format.

The new format increased their numbers in the first book by a tenth 
of a point. Not bad, since most format changes blow off the exisiting 
audience before building a new one.
